As a media communiqué states, the topic of discussion with Chancellor Nehammer was also Russian military aggression in Ukraine and its effects on the Western Balkans.
President Osmani has highlighted the danger of destabilisation of the region by Russia and its ally Serbia, which we must prevent in co-ordination with our allies.
Furthermore, the president has stressed that with unprotested Russian aggression against Ukraine, security in Europe is critical. President Osmani further stressed that the European Union's unification against Russian aggression against Ukraine should be forwarded with unified EU actions towards the Western Balkans to speed up the membership of the region's EU states.
According to Osmani, Kosovo's position for Ukraine is in full accordance with the EU, US and all democratic countries' stance.
At a meeting with Chancellor Nehammer, co-operation between two states in areas of mutual interest has also been discussed.
