Osman shocked by Albright's death: Kosovo's people will remember it eternally

President Vjosa Osmani has written after the death of former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, saying she repeatedly supported Kosovo to the last breath.

“deeply shaken by the loss of Kosovo's great friend, Madeleine Albright, former US Secretary of State. It gave us hope, when we did not have it, became our voice and our arm when we had neither voice nor arm”, wrote Osman on a Facebook post.

“E recognised the pain of our people because he himself had experienced persecution since childhood, so he stood firm against Milosevic until his genocide in Kosovo” was halted, the president said.

“E backed Kosovo to its last breath, so the people of Kosovo will eternally remember”, Osman concluded.

Albright, who played a key role in NATO's intervention in the 1998-99 war in Kosovo, died today after suffering from cancer.
