Nagavci says 32 Serbian officials in the ministry stayed while being paid because nobody asked them to work something

With 74 votes for the recommendations for the auditing report concerning the financial mirrors of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation for 2020, for which recommendations, Education Minister Arberie Nagavci said some of them have already been implemented.

She stressed that payments have already been cut for 32 Serbian community officials as former civil defence officials for whom she had found the audience's report that they are not present at work.

The excuse for voting these recommendations has also been given by the chairman of the Commission for Public Finance Supervision, Hykmete Bajrami.

Among the recommendations put to the vote was the timely order of the books not to delay distribution among students.

 “The improvement and advancement of the current SMIA system in technological terms so that it cannot interfere with the system or remain a trace of who has made interference. And the final recommendation should be made over time and there will always be no delays based on the registered number of students in the SMIA system and have a 10% reserve fund of books if these books are not spent during the current year can be used in the following year. This recommendation”, Bajrami said.

LDK MP Hykmete Bajrami criticised the ministers for failing to respond to the report before the Parliament commissions. She, with special emphasis, also mentioned Education Minister Arberie Nagavci.

  “They express a concern about the failure to respond to government ministers, especially to the Commission for Public Finance Oversight. We have considered this report without the minister's presence, we have information that at the time the minister's report has chosen to visit a school in Vranjevc despite the fact that we have postponed the report several times, the chairman kindly asked the Government to be part of and report to the Public Finance Supervisory Commission because we are all making the effort to find better solutions to address the”, she stressed.

After that, Minister Nagavci himself reacted, saying he always responded every time he was invited to report to the Parliamentary Commissions.

 I've been invited twice to the Public Finance Supervisory Commission once personally and once took over Deputy Minister Pupovci. And it's never happened on any of the commissions since we were invited as ministers not to participate, and so we ask for the delay in holding the Commission, and we have responded positively to each of the parliamentary groups' requests for monitoring certain laws. Even this report has been reviewed, and there has been deputy minister and ministry officials responsible for”, she stressed.

And speaking of the Auditor's report for the 2020 financial mirrors, Nagavci said that some of these recommendations have already begun to apply.

The payment of 32 Serbian community officials as the official of the former civil protection worth 135 thousand of 760 euros as I believe you are known to have been prohibited for these officials and all have been reported to MSTAT and have said that during all these years no one has ever contacted and asked for any work and responsibility from them, this is also one of the recommendations that will be implemented in all and there will be no such budget misuse situations”, Nagavci said.

PDK MP Eliza Hoxha said they support this report but require better management of public finances from responsibilities in August.

  “We as the parliamentary group will vote the Auditor's report but ask the responsibilities of the responsibilities of the STAT executive to make better management of public finances and to be more transparent and accountable in their work and to have added attention in spending public money”, Hoxha said.
