Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has assured Kosovo citizens that the situation is under control and that Kosovo is not provoked by words coming from Serbia.
“Geopolitically the situation has changed in many countries we do not fall prey to words, false threats, as Serbia has in all these years. We keep calm, Kosovo is safe, has security institutions and we are in real co-operation with KFOR”.
He made that statement before reporters while reporting on his one-year work at the head of the Ministry of Defence.
He has accused Serbia of tending to destabilise the region, even calling it the “Balkan” that has always caused wars in the region.
Slovenia's “have created war in Bosnia, Croatia, in Kosovo that we have had the last war, but you have seen political interference in Montenegro”.
Meheaj has also assured that Kosovo security organs have proper control throughout the country.
