In a Serbian Presidency press release following the conversation Macron had Saturday with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, it is stressed that “France openly supports Serbia on the path to integration into Europe”.
According to the communiqué, Macron has welcomed Serbia's vote in the United Nations to condemn Russian aggression in Ukraine.
Communication points out that Macron has told Vuciqi that despite geopolitical changes in Evorpe and the world, “Serbia remains the key priority and the first state to join the European Union”.
