Emmanuel Macron will run for a new presidential mandate in the April elections. The newspapers of this Friday in France opened with his letter to the people.
We have faced many challenges in the past five years. Terrorism, pandemic, war in Europe. France has rarely faced so many crises at once. We haven't done everything. There are choices I'd do differently with my experience. But the transformations made during this mandate have enabled us to live better. I ask your confidence in a new mandate as president of the Republic. I am the candidate who will respond to the challenges of the century, which will protect the values that will continue to prepare the future of our children and grandchildren,” writes Macro in his letter.
The Russia-Ukrainian conflict and the economic consequences of war are expected to be the main word of the Macron campaign, unlike its rivals, who are focusing on identity, immigration and security policies.
A large part of the voters think Macron has dealt well with the conflict in Ukraine and feel that the crisis can positively influence them to re-election him as president.
