State leaders pay tribute to Prekaz: KLA has fought defensively

President Vjosa Osmani, Chief Prime Minister Glauk Konjufca and Prime Minister Albin Kurti have been holding hot faces at the Memorandum complex “Adem Jashari” in Prekaz in honour of the 24th anniversary of the Kosovo Liberation Army's Age. The three heads of state institutions honoured the financial sacrifice of the Jashar family at the helm with legendary commander “Adem Jashar”.

From Prekazi, President Osmani said it is a disaster that still has no justice for the massacres and genocide Serbia committed in Kosovo. He added that they will always seek justice and that also Osman said that the bravery and sacrifice of the Jashar family will remain the light that will shine the way ahead of generations.

“We are here to remember the basic sacrifice of the Jashar family at the helm with legendary Commander Adem Jasharin, who showed extraordinary bravery in a state of emergency where all of us Kosovo citizens were under Serbia's genocide siege. They were attacked in their homes where the overwhelming majority of the families who were killed were women and children showing that this was one of the most terrible massacres committed by the genocide regime of Serbia for which unfortunately there is no justice. Besides our call for justice, we will always have permanent guides to the bravery and sacrifice of the Jashar family because what they do for their homeland will remain a light that will shine the way before generations. Hence, their glory and commemoration will be permanent”, Osman of Precazi said.

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca said they went to honour the fallen Jashari family, where he stressed that their sacrifice shook the whole world and moved the democratic world.

This is the moment when the sacrifice returns to Epe even when the whole nation mobilizes and becomes the KLA a moment which not only turned the whole nation into an army and willing to give it life but which sacrifice actually shook the whole world, moved the democratic world and activated the international factor to believe in our right cause from that point, we thought that the Jashart sacrifice is the most important moment within Kosovo's freedom efforts, said Konjuca.

And the first of the Government of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said the Kosovo Liberation Army has fought defence and justice, and the truth cannot be avoided either by deformities that the line or by denials taken.

We arrived here today on the 24th anniversary of the sacrifice of three generations of the Jashar family who were sacrificed for the freedom of Kosovo joined the people and gave decisive momentum to the Kosovo Cligarare Army. It was not the first attack on the Jasharaites that were attacked by Serbia, which was led by the Milosevic regime even in December 1991 and January 1998, and that all these attacks on the Jasharaites were Serbia's joint criminal enterprise. Kosovo's Liberation Army has fought defence and justice, and our truth cannot be removed either by deformities that come from or by denials made, the genocide of Serbia in Kosovo still has open wounds, and we as republican institutions, as leaders of these institutions, as political representatives as citizens of the republic not only do we not forget where we come from, but at the same time through our responsibility for this coming as painfully and glorious and we know how to walk, well and all before”, he said.
