Kosovo and its pledge that they will never recognise its independence was the topic that gave a boost to Aleksandar Vuciqi and Ivica Dacic's supporters at an election rally today in Serbia. Dacic, who is the leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia, who is racing to take the prime minister's seat in the coalition with Serbia's current president, praised Vuciqiqi, saying he weighs the key burden on his back, and for which he indicated he would share it with him.
Ivica Dacic said he is proud of “for all the results that have been achieved in these 10 years” in Serbia, but said he ranks the international position in which Serbia is placed, campaigning against Kosovo independence, writes B92, broadcasts The Express.
This [Vuchy] is the politician who needs to answer some questions. First, Kosovo, whose false independence we will never recognise. And not only that. We together made 18 countries attract recognition for independence and we can do much more”, he said.
After Kosovo, Dacic also spoke of Bosnia's Republika Srpska, for which he received credit for doing much and said it is against anyone who “claims it is genocide-creation”.
Daciq also indicated the coalition stance that has been in front of NATO.
“NATO, we have clearly said that we do not want to join NATO, we want military neutrality. And those who bombed us are war criminals and they'll answer in a moment. Vuciq is under great pressure to impose sanctions on our friends, but his response was complete: “We have condemned the violation of the territorial integrity of any country, but imposing sanctions on friends would be our suicide””, Dachic said.
