United States has placed full ban on Russian oil, gas imports
Russia has later said it will impose stops on the export of several raw materials, though no one is yet known in what and who will be affected.
Several other major companies have said they will suspend their jobs in Russia, including McDonald's, Starbucks, Coca-Cola and PepsiCo.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reiterated calls for a no-fly zone over Ukraine and has asked the West for more sanctions on Russia. He made these statements in a historic speech before the British Parliament through video connection.
Poland has said it is ready to hand over all MiG-29 military planes to Germany and make it available to the American government.
