KFOR announced that during yesterday, on Monday, a soldier of KFOR's mission has passed away in Pristina. His death was not related to military duty.
KFOR Commander, Major General Ferenc Kayari, comforted the military's family and friends, who belonged to the Romanian KFOR contingent.
“On behalf of all NATO KFOR soldiers expresses my sincere condolences. My heart is in the family and friends of the late soldier and for the entire Romanian contingent deployed in Kosovo. NATO laments the loss of a soldier and we are here to support his loved ones and friends. His fellow fighters, sailors and planes continue their bold mission of UN mandate”, said the State General Kayar's statement.
