Montenegrin President Milo Judanovic has again accused Serbia of wanting Montenegro to fail.
To the “Open Balkan” initiative has expressed distrust, as opposed to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
Judanovic has announced that the coming months will pay a visit to Pristina, where he is expected to provide an interview regarding recent developments, such as the war in Ukraine and Kosovo's NATO membership.
Comparing the current period to Slobodan Milosevic's rule, Djukanovic says Belgrade “first declares the endangerment of Serbs in the region, and then declares Serbia's readiness to protect the endangered rights of Serbs in the region” and of course, Serbia destroys the sovereignty of neighbouring countries.
“They are trying to realise their nationalist project to then challenge their destruction with a kind of history of regional co-operation, which they literally define as the Open Balkans. No, this doesn't work for us. We cannot accept such gullibility, but we must see what is behind it. After that, we see an attempt to destroy the sovereignty of neighboring countries, and therefore we can very clearly state that one of the authors of this initiative has no credibility to invite us to join this initiative.”, he said.
