Through a post published in his Facebook account, Minister Svechla has praised IPK and MPB subordinate institutions for the action taking place today.

His full response:

Kosovo police rank as the second most reliable institution for citizens, and this, of course, is thanks to the work of police officials and not only. We've pledged to keep this assessment and to work very hard to get it higher. In view of this, all who try or tarnish the honest and professional work of other police officials have no place in the Kosovo Police. Kosovo police will never again be the place where the law is broken and corruption becomes.

As Minister of Internal Affairs, I will continue to give my maximum support to each separate police official and police as a whole in achieving their major goals of ensuring order, law and security for all citizens on the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

I commend the Kosovo Police Inspectorate and the departmental institutions of MPBs, who seriously and honestly work at the service of citizens and in improving services to them. Our main goal is to ensure integrity and professionalism within all the agencies we run. Under that, anyone violating the institution's integrity will undoubtedly face justice under the law in force.
