Russia, following the nuclear power plant's conquest, said the <x0-rejection is within normal level” and claimed the invasion of the “prevented possible nuclear provocations by Ukrainian nationalists”
Vereshchuk also said that during yesterday's negotiations, Ukraine urged Russia to allow the creation of 97 humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians from the most hit towns and villages.
“We demand that the UN Security Council take urgent measures to demilitarise the Chernobyl expulsion area and launch a special UN mission to eliminate the risk of a repeat nuclear catastrophe”, Vereschuk added.
