Germany is looking into the possibility of providing two thousand and 700 antiaircraft missiles to Ukraine as it is being protected from Russia's eight-day invasion.
So said Thursday by a government source.
According to The Guardian, German news agency DPA reported that the Economy Ministry had approved the missile supply “Strela”, part of the inventory of the former German Democratic Republic Army.
A source told Reuters that the Federal Security Council must approve this movement first.
“Rackets are ready to be transported”, the source said.
This would come after 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 missiles “Stinger” Germany said on Saturday it would supply Ukraine in a policy change after Russia invaded its neighbour.
