Here come Denmark prisoners to Gjilan

Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has said the purpose of the agreement between Kosovo and Denmark for prisoners is to be finalised as soon as possible.

At a joint media conference with Danish counterpart Nick Hækkerup, she said it is scheduled for, at the earliest in May, to finalise this agreement, Klankosova broadcast.tv.

Our goal is to finalize this agreement as soon as possible. We plan as early as May, the date has not yet been set when the agreement will be finalised and when it will proceed in the two countries' assemblies. Our goals are to finalize” as soon as possible.

“There will also be improvements and renovations at the Gjilan prison because there is a need and when this centre is ready we will announce Denmark and then bring prisoners”, Haxhiu said
