Today, 24 years went by the development of the Kosovo Liberation Army battle in Glodjan, otherwise known as “Dukagjini age”.
One of the leading KLA protagonists, Daut Haradinaj, has said the events of March 1998 marked the historic turn for freedom and independence.
Today, with the highest honour, we remembered the fallen in the Dukagjini Age as well as the beginning of NATO attacks on Serbian military targets. Also, we remembered and honored all the missing martyrs for Kosovo's freedom and independence, Haradinaj wrote in his profile on the social Facebook network.
On March 24th 1998, frontal battles have been fought by KLA forces and enemy forces that had surrounded Glodjan, while their aim was to house the Haradinaj family, where they faced strong resistance.
On this day, Hime Haradinaj, Gazmen and Agron Mehmetaj were killed.
