Valery Kudinov, a federal official of the air transport agency, said Russia would look for alternatives to other countries to secure parts of the planes, including Turkey and India, according to Russian news agencies.
Kudinov, who is responsible for keeping the aircraft safety certificates, was quoted as saying the changes in the agreement came following the failure of a bid to secure parts of planes from China, which had previously raised voices expressing its concerns over sanctions against Russia.
The Russian aviation sector has been hit by sanctions from the West on Vladimir Putin as a result of Ukraine's invasion of Ukraine, with RHINGBoing, and Airbus who have halted component supplies.
The Russian Foreign Ministry this week alarmed that the safety of Russian passengers is endangered as a result of sanctions, which have been targeting the country's banks and oligarchs.
Kudinov said Russian companies are recording their planes in Russia after the United States and the European Union sanctions, until earlier these planes have been registered abroad.
