China has named Putin's attack on Ukraine for the first time on Thursday, marking a shift in Beijing's voices, which is standing in line between support and condemnation of Russia over the last two weeks, writes the Daily Mail, followed Periscope.
“CCTV, quoting Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Thursday at a press conference with French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian.
Wang urged all sides to reduce tensions and take action in order to overcome the transition in Ukraine, the CCTV reported.
China has reduced its support of Russia, but still refuses to respond to calls for it to join the West for sanctions against Moscow.
On Thursday, China refused to supply Russian airlines with parts of planes, an official from Russia's aviation said.
According to Russian news agencies, Russia will try to obtain such equipment in other countries, including Turkey and India.
