Carla Del Ponte: Putin as Milosevic

Former chief of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Carla del Ponte, has compared Russian President Vladimir Putin to Serbian criminals Slobodan Milosevic and Radovan Karadzic.

Del Ponte says she is not surprised by the support Putin is receiving from 16 thousand volunteers from Syria, since the Russian president had supported counterpart Bashar al-Assad during the entire conflict in Syria.
