Bulgaria was Moscow's closest ally during the Cold War, but now a member of the European Union and NATO, it has condemned the invasion of Ukraine, writes Skynews.
In a statement on its website, the Foreign Ministry said Prime Minister Kiril Petkov had consulted the expulsions, and the Russian ambassador to Sofia had been informed.
