The British Parliament will vote on sanctions measures intended to further increase pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin's regime.
The government said it has presented a series of changes to the draft economic crime “bill to crack down on corrupt elites and to increase pressure on Putin's” regime.
MPs will consider changes in Parliament tomorrow. The changes will allow the official London to implement “more strong and faster functions; and allow us to line up more easily with our allies”.
Great Britain has already decided what it calls the “biggest package of sanctions in history” to Russia for its invasion in Ukraine.
This included a complete freezing of assets and a ban on travel imposed against oligarchs Aliceher Ussanov and Igor Shuvalov, who have important interests in Great Britain and close ties with official Moscow.
Great Britain has also imposed sanctions against Vladimir Putin, his foreign minister Sergei Lavrov and more than 300 individuals in Russia and Belarus, broadcast Sky News.
