US President Joe Biden spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday evening to discuss the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

President Joseph R. Beden, Jr. spoke with President Emmanuel Macro of France today to discuss Russia's fight against Ukraine. They reviewed recent diplomatic commitments and underlined their commitment to hold Russia responsible for its actions and to support the government and the people of Ukraine”, the White House says.
A French source known for CNN said Macron, “presented his condolences to the death of journalist Brent Renaud”.
“They agreed to strengthen already taken sanctions against Russia, support Ukraine and take all initiatives to stop fighting. They will remain in close contact for all these in the following days”.
