Chief of General Staff of the Belarusn Armed Forces Viktor Gulevich said Belarus has no plans to join the Russian occupation of Ukraine, but is sending five tactical battalion groups (BTG) to its rotating border to replace the already deployed forces there.
On Friday, a senior Ukrainian security official warned Belarus not to send troops to Ukraine, amid fears that Belarus was planning to join the Russian armed forces within hours.

Ukraine accused Russian aircraft yesterday of shooting the Ukrainian border villages from Ukrainian airspace to offer an excuse for an offensive.
The alleged attacks occurred as Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko was meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, according to Ukraine's State Centre for Strategic Communications.
