US Ambassador to UN: Russia has committed war crimes

Speaking of the World Service Newshour programme, she said “are working with the international community to document the crimes Russia is committing against Ukrainian people”.

“They constitute war crimes. They are attacks on civilians that cannot be justified in any way”, she added.

Asked about the White House warning earlier that Russia could plan an attack on chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine, she said “nothing is impossible”.

We just have to make sure we're prepared to respond and let them know and we're willing to do it at any possible level”, she said.
