The country's second-largest city of 1.4 million people has been destroyed by Russian air strikes since the beginning of the war on 24 February.
Yesterday, hundreds of people were photographed flocking together at Kharkiv railway station while trying to board trains far from the city.
In general, 170 people have been killed throughout the Kharkiv region, including five children.
