Among six points are “Reviewing the Tarife Proposal for OST/OT (KOSTT) for the relevant year fee 2022”, “Reviewing the Tariff Proposal for O SSH (KEDS) for readerial year 2022” and “Reviewing the Tarife Proposal for Universal Ministerial Supplier (KESCO) for the relevant fee 2022”.
Meanwhile, the head of this board, Ymer Fejzullahu, at a news conference on Monday has said that the price of tariffs will be expensive, but has not indicated how much that increase will be.
We're trying to make the decision early than February 20th. It's an extraordinary review and we're committed to ending this process as soon as possible, given that we have additional costs in the system and that we should necessarily make a decision that these costs will be covered by consumers as soon as possible, and in this case, by the government”, Feyzullahu has indicated.
Regarding the expensive tariffs, comments in ZRE have also sent President Osmani, Vetevendosje Movement, the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
Comments made public by ZERE
Comments that have been made public are from the Energy Community Secretariat in Vienna, the Institute for Development Policy (INDEP), regulated operators COST, KEDS and KESCO, the Signal newspaper reports.
The Energy Community Secretariat in Vienna has proposed that 600 kilowatt threshold increase as the price is expensive for 5% to the specified threshold
Meanwhile, KEDS and KESCO in their comments that have already sent them have urged tax increases of 47% so that, according to them, the system will not be jeopardised after losses in the past year.
On the other hand, the operator COSTT has warned that they are on the verge of bankruptcy, as they have many expenses, including the payment of electricity in the country's north.
