Kosovo police have arrested Trepca miners who, four days ago, were confined to the 10th horizon of the mine to protest the return of 10 miners who left their jobs on charges that they helped attack the new director, Ennis Abdurrahman, following the decision to oust former director Rafet Ibishi.
Local portal, “Mitropol” reports that the protest miners are in the police, following arrest.
Trepca Director Enis Abdurrahman had ordered the head of the Business Mining Unit with Flotacuion, Nexhat Dedia, to temporarily suspend all protesters.
According to the document provided exclusively by Mitrovica, this decision came after director Abdurrahman estimated the miners' strike was unreasonable.
“For disrespect of the ordinance, an adequate legal measure” will be passed, the document said.
