The Biden administration believes Russia will threaten to kill the families of Ukrainian soldiers if they do not surrender, an American official said on Friday.

The State Department did not respond immediately when asked why the US believes the Russians will do so, reports CNN, conveys news.net.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has recently warned of the possibility of human rights abuses against the Ukrainian people committed by Russia.
