The former Kosovo Parliamentary MP candidate Avni Klinkaku, in a Facebook text, “has made it easier” the way current MPs resign. He has submitted a form of resignation after the official expenses of MPs who have benefited from travel compensation were published.
With the published form, the former head of the Movement for the Union has said he is trying to help little MPs for what has been missing for two decades in Kosovo.
This former former government is a small contribution to all those deputies who are only unaware of it and who are not remembering the institution of resignation, missing for two decades in Kosovo. The formula applies to members of all political parties! ” wrote the former Facebook MP candidate.
Following his resignation, in <x0form”, Klink has also proposed the return of all means.
After publishing the compensation they have received, Vetevendosje deputies decided to give up the benefits, while this issue is expected to be discussed at the Assembly Chief next week, following major public pressure.
Klink's proposal:
Resign Form
Dear citizens of the Republic of Kosovo!
I, Kosovo Parliament deputy X, resign irrevocable from the position of Kosovo Assembly deputy.
When I enrolled as the deputy of the Parliament, I completed the form in which my residence was required to be written, and I, even though I live in the capital, wrote X to the city of Kosovo as a settlement. On the basis of this on my account have been poured xx.x euro, for which I was silent until this case became public. This, damaging Kosovo's budget, also constitutes a moral breach on my part. The 2011 decision on paying the trips (good or bad) does not excuse me, so:
I resign immediate from the MP position, and
I'm going to turn all the illegally adopted tools into the Parliament budget.
All citizens of the Republic, and especially members of my Party, I apologize publicly for my concerns.
