On his first visit to the White House, Chancellor Scholz said Berlin and Washington “will be unified” in response to a Moscow attack, while President Biden gave the powerful warning that these two “countries would force the failure of the $8.3 billion project if Russian troops enter within Ukraine's borders, writes Independent, broadcast Periscope.
On the other hand, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stressed that sanctions and other measures against Russia would be ready for implementation if Ukraine is invaded, while announcing that his government would ask parliament to have sanctions on Russian individuals and companies.
Johnson also announced that he is considering deploying warriors from the Royal Air Force Typehoun unit, as well as the Royal Navy, in order to provide protection in Southeast Europe.
