Gabon editor, but politics fails editor

RTK's management, following pressure from the presidency and political appointee aboard RTK, Besnik Boletini, suspended during yesterday's RTK website editor-in-chief Altin Ahmeti, even though the same was in the phase of launching disciplinary measures against his subordinates who had posted the news on the MP spending scandal, [...]
The Director's Task Agent at RTK, Shkumbin Ahmetxekaj, has sponsored the editor-in-chief of RTK Altin Ahmeti's website, following pressure from the new board to faithfully Bolitin and the Kosovo Presidency, even though editor-in-chief Altin Ahmeti, had nothing to do with the post.
The editor-in-chief's suspension took place on Saturday, which was returned on a day when the board took place on Saturday. RTK, along with the General Director's U.D., dismiss and suspend people for three weeks.
Initially, General Director-in-chief, Intervention Kastrati was dismissed to follow up with Deputy Director Mentor Shala, and in the end, the editor-in-chief of the website, Altin Ahmeti.
But he has reacted by clarifying that he is not responsible for posting by his colleague, saying the responsibility in journalism is individual.
Complete mailing of Eric Ahmeti:
Wrong reporter has a surname and is personal
In a number of different media, because of information released formally by people inside RTK, information that had personally and professionally tarnished me was reported that I, Altin Ahmeti, was fired or suspended from the chief editor of the RTK website.
Media reports allude to my dismissal due to the distribution of news for the president of Kosovo, a news report borrowed from Online Economy from most of the media, including the RTK website.
I want to stress with this reaction that I as editor-in-chief is by no means involved in the distribution of this news and that's why the management and the RTK board are announced.
News on the Rtk website has been posted by Fadil Sertoll, who has the headline Reporter-Rector and not only has accepted the case, but has also taken on the mistake. I'm congratulating Fadil Sertoll's letter with a view to truth-making.
After erasing the news and spreading the facts about how and how it came to borrowing and posting news, in consultation with the online media leader, we agreed to take disciplinary measures against the person responsible for posting the news.
Since it was Saturday and the RTK administration did not work, the disciplinary action remained to be identified in administration during Monday.
But this procedure, which concerns me to be initiated and implemented on my part as the chief of journalist-redactor Fadil Sertolli, could not be defeated by the RTK management, which, although aware of the person who had posted the news, imposed the motion of suspension to me as editor-in-chief.
I've just been introduced to this measure, but through a letter I've asked the General Director's U D through an email to review the decision to suspend my suspension. And the letter that I sent.
As you can read on paper, I cannot be held responsible not only legally but practically.
The website works from 6am to 1 p.m. after midnight, 7 days a week and no editor-in-chief in the world can monitor the process by working 17 hours a day and 7 days a week. There are 300-400 news reports I post during one day and if there were only one person responsible, in this case the editor-in-chief might not have been able to do it.
To that end, employees on the RTK website have the journalist-rector title, being responsible for what they post.
The same facts will be presented not only to the disciplinary commission but also to the Labour Inspectorate, Courts in Kosovo and to all local and international journalists' organisations. I won't allow my own personal and professional vision.
