He has said that continuing close EU-US co-operation is the key to avoiding deterioration and dominate diplomacy.
We have sent a strong message today for our common determination to strengthen energy security in Europe and in our immediate neighbourhood, I mean Ukraine, but also the Western Balkans. As for the current crisis around Ukraine, we have seen our determination to give a united response to Russia's threats. This is our best asset”, Borrell said at a news conference after meeting with Blinken.
