A 12-year-old sexually assaulted while returning from school, sentenced to two years in prison

According to the communiqué, on October 20th and 25th of 2021, the suspect has sexually molested the minor, encroaching on her dignity and creating a frightening and humiliating environment.

“The Constitutional Court in Prizren, the General Department has declared a criminal act against the accused T.T., because: On October 20th and 25th of 2021, the other person (sensitive victim because of age) is sexually molested by the other person, so that the accused T.T., is involved in the unwanted verbal behavior of sexual nature against the injured 12 years old, the way that by 20 October in the noon hours, while the accused was riding a bicycle, which was the only one coming from school to the house and bothered him with words, and the 25th day of age, when he was damaged by the solely accused, the face of injury, and the laughing on his face, looking for him at a telephone, and he listens to the fears that he has caused him, and he has caused to lose his own deignment, and deignive behavior. That's why he committed sexual harassment by Article 183. One of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. So the Court, in terms of Penal Code and Criminal Procedure Code, accused of JYON URGIM in terms of two years (in which sentence will be counted in detention from 29.10.2021 on)”, says further in the communiqué.
