But Kosovo Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu, in a response to Gazeta Express, has said the Implementation Commission is continuing its work.
The posthumous “payments for the first group of students have been processed. The Implementation Commission is continuing work on verifying accepted applications”, Kryeziu has said.
The executive through the aid packages has also been targeting pensioners, but some of them have misunderstood the decision, thinking they will take them for three months in a row.
In late September of this year, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Finance, Labour and Transference Minister Iron Murati took the joint conference to introduce new measures under the Economic Pack for facing inflation.
The measures included subsidising the electricity bill for those saving electricity, subsidising 50 percent of the salary increase for private sector workers who receive up to 1,000 euros, sharing additions for employees who pay up to 1,000 euros in public enterprises, and additions to pensioners, welfare families, and students.
