Residents of the northern part of the country are facing fear because of some criminal groups that in particular cases even use explosive devices.
KFOR forces have not yet made any moves to get the barricades off the road.
And Professor Johns Hopkins University, Daniel Serwer, says KFOR from the very beginning should not have allowed these barricades.
The KFOR forces should not allow barricades from the start. Now we have another situation and of course it has to be done very carefully”, Cererwer said.
Serwer, responsible for these developments in the country's north, sees Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
According to him, Vuciq has authorised Serbian secret services to make these destabilizing actions in the country's north.
He is also highly critical of Brussels and Washington's soft approach to Serbia.
“They are agents of the Serbian secret service for which he is responsible. None of this would happen without Vuciki's approval. Bernabiq's tweets only confirm these actions. I don't understand why the West has failed to respond properly to Vuciqi's provocations, which are flagrant and visible. I am afraid that there are those in both Washington and Brussels that sympathise with Belgrade's efforts to establish particular governance for Serbs in northern Kosovo”, Cerwer told Tv1.
Meanwhile, during today, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has held a meeting with KFOR Commander Angelo Michele Ristuccia, with all due causes both demanded the immediate removal of the barricades.
