Serwer answers to Brnabyqi: No one has the right to block roads and jeopardise public safety

US security expert Daniel Serwer has said that, as he said, no one has the right to block roads, attack police and jeopardise public security. Serwer has reacted after statements [...]
Cerwer has reacted following Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabyq's statements about barricades and tensions in northern Kosovo.
“No one doubts the right of Serbs in Kosovo to protest peacefully, but has no right to block roads, attack police and jeopardise public safety. And it has no right as Serbia's prime minister to use people on your country's salary list to destabilise a neighbouring state”, he wrote on Twitter.
While Serbia's prime minister had reacted to German diplomat Wolfgang Ischinger's statement, who had said he is concerned with tensions and that the European Union should take on a decisive and urgent role, while asking on Twitter posts whether Serbia has been informed that promoting violence against a neighbouring state like Kosovo would make the process towards EU membership impossible.
Brnabiq had shown “the reasons” why Serbs in the north are staying at the barricades.
Dear @ischinger, do you know why Serbs are protesting? Their prayers: 1) Implementation of the Brussels Agreement (signed in 2013!); 2) Basic rule of law (not to be arrested on will and to be held hostage without even having contact with their families). Too much to ask? Contrary to EU values?
Ischinger has also retaliated. In his view, issues are not resolved by promoting violence.
There is certainly legitimate demand on both sides, in fact. What is not right is to address such concerns by promoting violence and public concern. Serbia knows exactly how to act as responsible power! Christmas means peace! ” wrote Ischinger on Twitter.
