Former Serbian football player Sinisa Mihajlovic has died at the age of 53. Yugoslavia's Repretant has long been suffering from cancer, reports The Sun. He spent most of his career in Italy playing for Inter, Rome, Lazio, and Sampdoria.

A Serie A statement is said to be grieving his death.

“Seria A is deeply grieved over the death of Sinisa Mihajlovic, a soccer and life icon.

His clean class as football player and coach, his strength and humanity are an example that leaves a lasting mark on Italian and world football”.
