The chairman of this union, Yusuf Azemi, has said that on Friday he will protest in front of the Pristina municipality.
Azemi told Front Online that the demand in this protest is rising wages.
“Proteta will take place Friday at 0800 before the Pristina municipality. Our demand is to raise the salaries of workers who are under the management of the Pristina municipality. For technical workers and physical security maintaining several schools and family medical centres, which are responsible for 48x1>, Azemi told Front Online.
The private sector employees' union has called for salary increases for the sector, with the government's decision to raise the minimum wage, as they believe these employees are at risk for survival.
Their demand is to raise the minimum wage to 250 euros by law.
