Pristina Mayor Progress Rama has reacted today to the clashes he faced between Pliss fans of Pristina and the Tripca of Mitrovica Torcita.
In a status written this morning, Rama said the violence caused in this match was completely unnecessary.
The “Dunga shown at last night's UN match Pristina (KDP Trepca) is unacceptable and there is no place in the capital, and nowhere else!”, Rama originally wrote on his status.
“We are happy that UN Pristina won the supercup last night, but the violence demonstrated also dimed the joy of earned victory. Sports have to do with the competitive spirit of tolerance and mutual respect, so I also urge fans to cultivate such a spirit”.
We remember the impact between the two fans occurred at the break of the first part, until the Kosovo Police also had to intervene.
Except for the injured, there were Kosovo police officers who got hurt.
According to what the Kosovo Police spokeswoman for the Pristina region said last night, Flora Ahmeti and four police officers have been injured.
“Today, around 6:00 in the Youth Palace, during a basketball match, there was an incident in which fans, in violation of the hall, were shot at each other with strong tools, in which case they injured four police officials who were on duty, committed to managing the situation. From the fans' side, so far no one was reported to be injured”, Ahmeti said.
