The holiday for students is scheduled to take place from 27 January to 2 February 2023.
The Council of Parents' proposal was that days scheduled for vacation from January 27th until February 2nd, 2023 be moved and given off on January 4, 5, and January 6, 2023. Since (traditionally) for the new year there is more festive and holiday spirit and we have many exiles visiting Kosovo”.
With this request, and for these reasons, I am addressing the Minister of Education, Mrs. Arberie Nagavci. But, Minister Nagavci has rejected the request, providing rationale for administrative procedures. However, the Council has asked parents and students to respect the education ministry's decision and teaching to continue on 4 January.
“Schools will be open by 4 January 2023, and teachers will be forced to go to school on those working days. So the lack of students only complicates the teaching and management processes of schools, which we've never been interested in”.
