Council for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms ( KMDLNj has reacted to the attack on Klan Kosovo's team during yesterday in Zupc.
The release reportedly says KMDLNj such attacks consider such attacks serious human rights violations, endangering the lives of journalists who, though easily identified as journalists.
“Gasers are not protected by anyone, during fulfilling their mandate, EULEX and KFOR primarily, as guarantor security institutions for the fact that Kosovo police are barred from carrying out the mandate due to law”, the report said.
Among other things, KMDLNj said the deployment of two other barricades in the north presents additional obstacles to freedom of movement for all citizens, despite ethnic affiliations, age, gender and religious beliefs.
“Set up barricades, in the eyes of internationals, is encouraging to extremist forces and paramilitary units, armed and camouflaged and legalizing flagrant human rights violations, by the right to life as the main right, to the inability of freedom of movement, access to public services, education, health and others that create a closed circle for freedom of movement, divided into ethnic foundations”.
Kosovo's <x0 institutions, in addition to public statements from safe environments, are unable, due to objective reasons and subjects to take any action that would eliminate these physical barricades, as a necessary condition for a political agreement that would restore even partially normality in that part of Kosovo, controlled by Serbia and the international community! ”, said in response.
