The Greek top diplomat has said that prior to a visit to the Western Balkans, he spoke on the phone with Lajcaku about lowering tensions in northern Kosovo.
“In the function of my visits to the Western Balkans this week, I had a telephone conversation earlier with Miroslav Lajcak, on the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and efforts undertaken to reduce tensions in northern Kosovo”, Dendias wrote.
In northern Kosovo, barricades located on roads leading to two border crossings with Serbia have not yet been removed from December 10th.
The Serbian list has been announced several times by these barricades, while power in Serbia has said it has not ordered the barricades to be installed.
Internationals have asked for their removal, but American emissary Gabriel Escobar has said the barricades should be removed from the people who have established them and with dialogue.
