Pristina Social Management Directorate from next year to victims of domestic violence will help with 500 euros a month.
Adelina Sahiti, director of Social Management for Online Economics, says support is dedicated to more women for whom so far they have not been able to provide housing for more than six months.
She says that with this decision they have decided, she will cover them to live in peace and without violence.
This decision has three pillars, three financial support in the package of 500 euros, which included housing for domestic violence victims, which covers up to 250 euros for a domestic violence victim, residence, find and buy. And then the rest of the 150 euros for those that are not part of the social scheme for living conditions for clothing and such food things and 50 euros for a child”.
In the event that the victim may have more than one child we'll give up to 100 euros that, in total, when we do a simple math, turns out to be 500 euros for a victim of domestic violence. It's a very brave decision, a very big step, and we did it before the global campaign began 16 days of activism against domestic violence. With that, I am confident that we have a progress or an example of course it has to be practiced by other municipalities, though not by the central and normal level that only multiples this loan”, she says.
Sahiti says that for the first time, such a decision has been made, and with it the victims of domestic violence will find the emotional state that was created in that period.
“It's the first time that such a contribution has been made, we've never had, I said that we had accommodations up to six months and then it had to make the solution to itself given this situation we've reacted between this decision and given that the Centre for Social Work is the first door after reporting to the police that made the victim, then it's the social worker who made it, it should be part of the whole procedure from taking the victim's interview to the continuation of its ongoing performance how her mood and her mood is being adjusted and what we can do without the right to do and what we've got to do in the way that's decision that we've got in January, and we expect the application to add to the EUCH1CHCHCHCHCHCHCHCHCHCECECHCHCHCHCECECECECECECECECECECECECECECECECECEEEEECECECEECECECECECEECEC
According to Sahiti, they are strongly committed to helping both Pristina and Pristina to provide financial assistance from six months and up to two years to victims of domestic violence.
According to her, by September of this year, 300 victims of domestic violence are reported at the Directorate for Social Management until they called for the education of new generations in this area.
According to statistics we have social work centres, there are about 300 cases by September. Unfortunately, we have a huge increase in reported cases. That may be to influence the awareness of citizens and women in the sense that no one can bear the violence must report, and it is an institution and it is not within the walls of the house that are buried there. But violence must be reported, violence should be fought, and as such, it should not be allowed in any version of this solution for anything. This is of utmost importance to”.
On the other hand, we know that there are many other cases that are not reported and we are working hard to report and, most of all, work on prevention because it is very important that our children, the new generations educate in the sense that each person in our society is equal, no matter what gender and other affiliations. It is very important that every citizen in Pristina feels equal, treated with dignity by people in their hands, say their fate and we are institutions, and until we achieve the common goal of zero tolerance in cases of violence, and the less cases of domestic violence that elimination is very difficult, then we will not stop until we reach a common goal and encroachment as institutions as a society should be united in this direction to start with our children, to educate our children we teach our homes that your lives are going to be worth anything.
Criteria for application are specified: an open case which should be ruled by the tribunal, should have a report on social work, should have birth certificates, to be residents of the Pristina municipality, should have noted even the place where they will continue to live, and for which they are published on the Pristina Community page.
