Kiev did not take responsibility directly, but did not even criticise the move, which killed three people, according to reports from Russia.
“We have neither encouraged nor enabled Ukrainians to attack within Russia”, State Secretary Antony Blinken told reporters.
Washington has refused to supply ATACMS-long missiles for fear it could lead to a direct confrontation between Russian and US and NATO forces. /abcnews. al
