Actual to eight people for the February 14th elections, one of them former LDK delegations

One of the accused is the former Kosovo Assembly delegation from the ranks of the Democratic League of Kosovo.

The following is the complete communique:

Seven of them are accused of criminal acts: Misuse of the voting rights sanctioned by KPRK's Article 213 and the theft of identities and access equipment, sanctioned by KPRK Article 336, while one person is accused of criminal work of having been convicted by Article 181 KPR.

Among those accused are St. G. The former Kosovo Assembly deputy during the 2019 legislature from the ranks of the Democratic League of Kosovo, T. St. Official at the Peja Community, K. B., M. B., D.B., U.S., S.B. and K.J.

The defendants are charged that during the February 14th 2021 elections, they have misused voting rights by voting on behalf of citizens living in Austria, misusing the voting system by mail. Investigations have revealed that defendants have misused copies of identification and the right to vote for 71 citizens living in Austria, voting on their behalf in the election process.

This criminal act of the group of defendants has aimed at securing votes for the candidate, defendant S. G., however, the same has not provided enough votes to get the MP's mandate in the Kosovo Assembly.

This criminal case has already passed the Special Department of the Foundation Court in Pristina for further procedure.
