The situation in the north, Maliqi: There's a rumor there's a silent deal between Kurt and Vucciki

The philosopher and publicist, Shkelzen Maliqi, has provided an interview with the Bosnian media medium Buka éhurma, and in one of the answers, speaking of the situation in northern Kosovo, has declared there are rumours that everything is happening as a result of an agreement between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Alexander [...]
“There are voices, even in Serbia itself, that this situation is artificially dramatised and that there is a silent agreement between Vuciq and Kurti to shake dust before they are trained to sign the already prepared historical agreement for Kosovo”, Maliqi said.
He himself, he says, doubts this scenario, but adds that, however, it is not entirely impossible to be true.
It's not possible, but it's not possible, since it's proven that the secret negotiations between Kurti and Vucic have developed since the spring of this year, which means there are factors that have managed the game cleverly, so maybe they can bring to a” agreement.
Otherwise, Maliqi claims that in addition to Serbia's restructuring, “for the crisis in northern Kosovo guilty is just as much of Albin Kurti, who stubbornly rejected US and EU suggestions for delaying for ten months of exchange of Serbian license plates with those of Kosovo, so that diplomacy will have enough time to complete a comprehensive agreement, with the aim of setting out a more balanced solution not only in the principle of the question of the undisputed change of the license plates, but also of many other issues that meet the guarantees for Kosovo Serbs, to take on the first obligation to forming of the multi-Serb Commissions with the entire Balkans.
The “Kurti, ignoring warnings, is also claimed to have promised US and EU envoys a postponement of measures that caused an extreme reaction from Serbs, which enabled Vucic to undermine Brussels' dialogue, turning the dialogue to zero”.
“Vucic also dismissed the German-French plan for consensus solutions to the Kosovo issue! If current serious and explosive tension will lead to more permanent instability and even an armed conflict it is difficult to predict, but it responds to Belgrade's strategy to maintain a frozen conflict situation in Kosovo”, Maliqi claims.
It now appears that Kurti, supposedly defending Kosovo's constitution and his sovereign right to self-rule, has entered the same cycle of ignoring the geostrategic interests of the West. The paradox is that Kurti refers to Kosovo's sovereignty guaranteed essentially by US and NATO forces, as they preserve security and peace on the ground in northern Kosovo. Kurt's policy frustrated the West, but it seems that the Benden administration does not want to enter the adventures of the previous administration when Trump's emissary Green”
