Thus has India's MPJ spokesman Arindam Bagchi stated in a response to the media about the opening of the India-Kosovo Economic Office in New Delhi, reports “All India Radio”.
India continues not to recognise the independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
Kosovo declared independence in 2008, while so far it has been recognised by around 120 countries in the world.
Kosovo is part of many international organisations and mechanisms, but with Serb and Russian resistance, the latter is failing to become a member of the United Nations Organisation, since Russia with its veto does not allow the abolition of Resolution 1244, and the adoption of a new resolution, even though 23 years have been made by Kosovo's liberation and nearly 15 years of independence.
External Affairs Ministers report "India!"s position on #Kosovo is well know and there is no change in it. @MEAdia sponsors person Arindam Bagchi says this in respect to the media questions reporting on the operation of India-Kosovo Commercial Economic Office in New Delhi.
