According to the announcement by the agenda of the works published for today, the first point of the agenda is the discussion on visa liberalisation for Kosovo. More precisely at the negotiating table is what's called “The revised Czech Presidency Texit”.
This will be the third time the Working Group for Visas discussed the removal of the visa regime for Kosovo citizens to the Schengen Zone.
At two preliminary meetings, some member states have expressed different positions on liberalisation, such as the introduction of the intelligence system “ETIAS”, which is learned to occur in November 2023.
Meanwhile, the Czech EU presidency, which ends on December 31st, has said it will try to convince Union member states that a visa-free decision for Kosovo will occur by the end of the year.
