The first deputy head of the Serbian government said his country cannot support a political solution to what Kosovo should look like as an independent state should the independence issue not be resolved for it.
Our decisions on imposing sanctions against Russia directly and indirectly have an impact on our position on Kosovo, if we do so we'll anger our traditional friends” a little bit, Daciqi said today on Serbian television “Pink”.
He added that Serbia should extend its hand to all parts of the world and that it should be focused on its national interests.
Serbia risks a lot by imposing sanctions against Russia, there is no guarantee that it will not jeopardise its national interests. We have no guarantee from someone from the West that these interests will be protected”, the chief of Serbian diplomacy said.
