Volodymyr Zelensky called on all for mobilization so that, as he said, disaster could be prevented.
“According to our information Kakhovka was mined by Russian terrorists. Now all in the world must act vigorously and quickly to prevent a new Russian terrorist attack. The dam's destruction would mean a large scale disaster”, he said.
He has also called on Switzerland not to remain neutral in the conflict, following talks with Switzerland's president, who visited Kiev, writes Sky News.
We also discussed the issue of compensation for damages caused in Ukraine by Russian terror. I'm grateful that Russian assets worth $6.5 billion already have been frozen. This job has to go on. And this is something Switzerland should not remain morally neutral. Switzerland's chances of helping digitalise Ukraine and the restoration of telecommunications systems in the liberated territories were discussed separately and essentially”, he said.
